We make what we sell, if we don’t make it, our friends do. Salt Box is American gardener meets Modern Minimalist. We source the main ingredient of our restaurant, Salt, locally from Redmond Real Salt. Our customers come to us for our seasonal, curated, hand crafted food with 5 ingredients or less, and beverages, we don’t sell anything that isn’t made in our kitchen or one of our off-site facilities. These values and the culture to care and deliver healthy, local, fresh, preservative free food is what stands us apart from our competition, and it also begins to show our customers through the way they feel after they eat our food that it really does impact their health, almost like the reverse effect of MSG, we hook them on the feeling of elation when they eat here. Our herb gardens are being re sourced as they dine, daily shipments of our home brew, and vegetables are wheeled-in in vintage wooden boxes. Our home brew and distillery’s located off site supply us with carefully crafted yet constant selections of 4-5 beers, 2-3 wines, and 4-5 liquors. These beverages will be introduced during quarterly tastings/garden parties, that can also fluctuate around solstices and abundant produce yields. There will be ticketed dinner parties and Saturday and Sunday mid-morning fancifull brunches.Art Direction, Branding, Digital Art2012 -

In this project I worked on creating new ways of representing data from Twitter, Pinterest and Facebook API's. I created a solution that allows for live tracking and parameter alerts that revolve around set topics. Sound was also incorporated into this application for the visually impaired and users who are strictly monitoring activity. The sound on this dashboard correlates to the spread and influence the person has. The colors and size of the dots reflect where the data is coming from and how large the topic is. The lines that these circles of data are on refer to a specific topic that these conversations are revolving around.Interaction Design, Visual Effects, Web Design2012 -

This was a branding project I worked on for Dane Holmes and his magical world of music. Producing music for video and motion pictures he spends a lot of time in the studio, but his heart soul is always with the ocean, particularly those of Southern California. We worked with Photographer and Olympian Russell Holmes to produce a shot that would capture the vastness of his talent.Digital Art, Graphic Design, Interaction Design2012 -

This was a school project with Jason Bangerter of Struck | Axiom, where I was asked to redesign bottles for Blender Bottles, the smoothie bottle company. I chose to step away from the traditional design of cylindrical smoothie cups and came up with a circular smoothie cup with a flexible rubber bumper, and collapsing handle that provides easy and continuous blending weather in your hand or in your gym bag.
